Choosing the part
Compare the module shape, optical surfaces and connection with the removed part. Confirm whether a cable or bracket is included. Match the part to DJI Mini 2. Use with Mini SE, Mini 2 SE or Mini 4K needs separate compatibility confirmation.
Installation and checks
DJI Mini 2 uses downward sensing; this replacement does not add front or side obstacle sensors. After repair, check module recognition and operation under conditions suitable for the system.
Questions before buying
Does a sensor error always mean a failed module? No. Dirty optics, cables, connectors and mounting alignment can also affect operation. Identify the sensing direction and cause of the error before choosing the module needed for repair.
Does fitting a sensor add new aircraft features? The part replaces an element of the existing system. It does not turn downward positioning into forward obstacle sensing or extend the model’s functions. Test the repaired system with lighting and ground conditions suitable for that aircraft’s sensors.
