Detailed description
DJI Avata 360 records 8K/60fps HDR panoramic video and lets you choose the viewing direction after the flight.
DJI Avata 360 Motion Fly More Combo
A 360° recording preserves multiple directions in one take, allowing you to decide later how to follow the subject and which format to export. Single Lens mode supplies a conventional flat image. It suits creators who want both panoramic footage and dynamic FPV-style sequences.
Features and use
- Two 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensors
- Up to 8K/60fps HDR 360° recording
- Up to 120MP panoramic photographs
- Single Lens recording up to 4K/60fps
- DJI O4+ transmission
Choosing the configuration
8K describes the whole panorama, not the resolution of every reframed export. Features vary with 360° mode, Single Lens mode and the control method. Goggles and motion controllers must be compatible; Standard and Motion Fly More are different configurations.
Motion Fly More targets FPV with goggles and motion control. Verify the exact goggles and controller models, battery count and charging equipment; it differs from a conventional remote-controller bundle.
Maximum endurance is measured under controlled conditions. Wind, temperature, settings, payload and battery condition affect results; keep a reserve for returning and landing.
The offer specifies three batteries. They enable repeat sessions after landing and swapping without changing camera performance. Keep charged and used packs separate so the next mission starts with the intended energy reserve.
Motion Fly More focuses on immersive flight with compatible goggles and a motion controller. This differs from an RC-N phone-based setup; the actual hardware generations must match the drone.
Getting more from this model
Avata 360 lets you build several shots from one flight: a forward view, an angle toward the subject and a vertical edit can originate from the same panorama. This freedom moves part of composition work into editing. Keep some distance from close objects near the lens stitching area and inspect a test recording. Include transfer, reframing and export time in the project schedule. For an action sequence, decide where the viewer should look; capturing all directions preserves options but does not choose the story's focal point for you.
Frequently asked questions
Does 8K mean a flat 8K frame in every direction?
No. The resolution covers the entire 360° panorama. Selecting one direction uses only part of that image.
Does single-lens mode also record 8K?
No, it reaches 4K/60fps. Panorama-specific features, including some tracking and sensing functions, are tied to 360° mode.
Does Motion offer every standard-controller feature?
No. Goggles and motion control provide FPV operation, while certain functions such as ActiveTrack 360° require a standard controller. Avata 360 has no Manual mode.
