Detailed description

RadioMaster Pocket ELRS is a compact transmitter for FPV aircraft with a compatible ExpressLRS receiver.

Selection and use

This listing specifies ELRS. RadioMaster also offers a CC2500 version with different compatibility. Confirm firmware region and supplied power accessories before setup.

Configuration and compatibility

Radio compatibility depends on receiver protocol, operating band and firmware. Control and video are separate links; choosing goggles does not automatically determine the right transmitter. Check stick mode, channel setup and supplied power accessories before purchase. Configure arming and failsafe with propellers removed before the first flight.

Selection and installation details

Pocket ELRS uses the 2.4GHz ExpressLRS link. The platform provides EdgeTX and Hall-sensor gimbals, powered by two 18650 cells that are not included in the manufacturer’s standard package. Its compact body is useful in an FPV bag, although comfort also depends on your stick grip. Check the regional version and receiver firmware compatibility, then assign switches for arming, flight modes and the functions you actually use.

Questions before buying

Does the radio also transmit the camera image? Control and video use different links. Match the aircraft receiver to the radio, then choose camera, video transmitter and goggles separately for the video system. Compatible goggles do not automatically identify the correct control receiver.

What should I prepare for first binding? Identify the receiver and its firmware, select the correct radio model and check channel order. Test the arming switch and failsafe without propellers. A working setup for one aircraft is not automatically correct for another receiver or configuration.
