DJI O3 Air Unit 3-in-1 Cable connects power and signal lines to the O3 module.
Selection and use
The manufacturer cable is 100 mm long with color-coded wires. Check flight-controller pin assignments before connecting; this is not the camera coaxial cable.
Configuration and compatibility
Compare the replacement with the existing video unit, including connector, cable length and routing through the frame. A component for O3 is not automatically suitable for O4 because it looks similar. Check retention and insulation after fitting, then test the video link before flight. A photograph of the original component helps identify the correct version.
Selection and installation details
When rebuilding O3 wiring, distinguish power conductors from flight-controller communication signals and compare both devices’ diagrams. The 3-in-1 connection differs from the camera-to-transmitter cable. Suitable length allows secure routing without tension or loops near propellers. If OSD or control through DJI is missing, the checks include port configuration rather than only cable continuity.
Questions before buying
Can I choose the part just by connector shape? No. Compare the video-unit generation, the cable’s purpose and connection specification. Similar dimensions do not establish identical pin assignments or the same role in the video system.
What if the problem remains after replacement? Inspect the module socket, remaining cables and power supply. A new part cannot repair a damaged socket. Checking the complete signal path helps distinguish an installation issue from a video-unit fault and identify any further repair needed.
