Detailed description
TBS Tango 2 is a compact FPV radio with built-in TBS Crossfire and USB-C charging.
Selection and use
It suits a Crossfire receiver ecosystem. ELRS requires a separate compatible solution; the internal radio should not be assumed to use ExpressLRS.
Configuration and compatibility
Radio compatibility depends on receiver protocol, operating band and firmware. Control and video are separate links; choosing goggles does not automatically determine the right transmitter. Check stick mode, channel setup and supplied power accessories before purchase. Configure arming and failsafe with propellers removed before the first flight.
Selection and installation details
Tango 2 combines a compact format with full-size Hall-sensor gimbals and a built-in battery. Its internal Crossfire link is the main criterion when selecting a receiver. When replacing another radio, verify channel order and switch positions before using a saved model. Distinguish Tango 2 from Pro versions and modifications with external modules: these can change ergonomics or configuration without being established by the short listing title.
Questions before buying
Does the radio also transmit the camera image? Control and video use different links. Match the aircraft receiver to the radio, then choose camera, video transmitter and goggles separately for the video system. Compatible goggles do not automatically identify the correct control receiver.
What should I prepare for first binding? Identify the receiver and its firmware, select the correct radio model and check channel order. Test the arming switch and failsafe without propellers. A working setup for one aircraft is not automatically correct for another receiver or configuration.
