Detailed description
DJI Mavic 3 Pro offers three cameras, including a 4/3-inch Hasselblad camera, for wide and tele aerial compositions.
DJI Mavic 3 Pro (Standard Set)
Three focal lengths let you build a sequence from establishing views, medium shots and details without changing equipment in flight. The main camera suits architecture and landscapes, while the tele cameras compress perspective. This is useful for commercial films and carefully planned visual storytelling.
Features and use
- 4/3-inch 20MP Hasselblad main camera
- 70mm medium tele camera with a 1/1.3-inch sensor
- 166mm-equivalent tele camera
- Main recording up to 5.1K/50fps
- Up to 43 minutes in DJI tests
Choosing the configuration
Recording modes and resolutions differ between cameras; only the main camera uses the Hasselblad sensor. Apple ProRes belongs to the Cine edition, not every Mavic 3 Pro. Compare controller choice and spare power separately when selecting a package.
This configuration suits buyers who prefer selecting additional accessories individually. Check box contents, controls and power before comparing the price with a larger bundle; the same model can be offered in different packages.
Maximum endurance is measured under controlled conditions. Wind, temperature, settings, payload and battery condition affect results; keep a reserve for returning and landing.
This offer specifies one battery. It suits shorter sessions or an existing equipment kit; plan spare power separately when you need several consecutive flights.
Getting more from this model
Mavic 3 Pro can build a sequence with distinct shot sizes: 24mm for context, 70mm for the subject and 166mm for distant details. The cameras have different sensors and apertures, so test exposure before alternating between them. For a coherent edit, watch white balance, movement direction and distance to the subject. A tele camera does not remove the need for a clear flight path and direct aircraft observation. Decide which details the film actually needs beforehand so the extra focal lengths serve the story rather than simply adding magnification.
Frequently asked questions
Do all three cameras use a 4/3 sensor?
No. The main camera has the 20MP 4/3 sensor. The 70mm camera uses a 48MP 1/1.3-inch sensor and the 166mm camera a 12MP 1/2-inch sensor.
Is there continuous optical zoom between them?
There are three separate fixed focal lengths. Digital intermediate settings are not equivalent to a continuous optical zoom lens.
Does Fly More include ProRes?
The name alone does not imply this. Apple ProRes belongs to the Cine variant and must be selected separately.
