Detailed description
DJI Mavic 3 pairs a 4/3-inch Hasselblad main camera with a tele camera for landscapes and distant details.
DJI Mavic 3 (Fly More Combo)
Its two-camera system supplies a wide establishing view and a tele perspective for exploring compositions. The main camera records 20MP photos and 5.1K video for projects involving editing and colour work. This is useful when a single wide camera does not provide enough framing flexibility.
Features and use
- 4/3-inch Hasselblad main CMOS camera
- 20MP main-camera photographs
- Main video up to 5.1K/50fps
- Tele camera with a 162mm equivalent focal length
- Up to 46 minutes in DJI tests
Choosing the configuration
Do not confuse Mavic 3 with the three-camera Mavic 3 Pro. Apple ProRes capabilities of the Cine version should not be assumed for this aircraft. Check the aircraft edition, controller and accessories as separate parts of the offer.
Fly More Combo suits trips involving repeated takes and organised charging between flights. Compare battery type and quantity, hub and bag against the actual offer contents.
Maximum endurance is measured under controlled conditions. Wind, temperature, settings, payload and battery condition affect results; keep a reserve for returning and landing.
The offer specifies three batteries. They enable repeat sessions after landing and swapping without changing camera performance. Keep charged and used packs separate so the next mission starts with the intended energy reserve.
Getting more from this model
The Hasselblad camera is the starting point for landscapes, architecture and subtle colour transitions. Its adjustable f/2.8–f/11 aperture helps control exposure and depth of field, while RAW files provide room for still-photo editing. The original Mavic 3 tele camera can add distant details, but it does not share the main sensor's imaging characteristics. Use gentler manoeuvres at longer focal lengths because tight framing makes abrupt movements more obvious. For a property film, first show the building in its surroundings, then isolate an architectural feature.
Frequently asked questions
Can it record 5.1K at 120fps?
No. The main camera records 5.1K up to 50fps; higher frame rates use other resolutions and modes.
How does Mavic 3 differ from Classic?
Mavic 3 includes a tele camera. Classic concentrates on the main Hasselblad camera, so choose according to your need for distant details.
Is this a Cine version?
Standard or Fly More naming does not mean Cine. Do not assume Apple ProRes recording or the Cine SSD without that variant being explicitly specified.
