Detailed description
DJI AS1 Speaker is a loudspeaker for DJI Matrice 4 aircraft, designed to broadcast voice messages from the air. It is relevant to communicating with ground teams, coordinating operations and making announcements in suitable professional scenarios. This catalog listing is associated with Matrice 4T.
Messages and operating modes
Supported functions include recording messages, importing files and real-time broadcasting with the appropriate firmware. Prepare a short, clear message before missions requiring repeated announcements. DJI lists English and Mandarin Chinese for text-to-speech; do not assume Romanian or Russian speech synthesis is available.
Compatibility and preparation
DJI identifies the Matrice 4 series as the compatible platform. The speaker can operate independently or together with the AL1 spotlight using the prescribed mounting arrangement. Check fittings, activation and device updates. After installation, follow app requirements, including calibration if prompted.
Practical use
The fitted accessory affects weight and flight performance, so plan around the complete setup. Test message intelligibility at an appropriate distance and choose a suitable volume for the environment. Avoid high-volume tests near people and playback of single-frequency tones. Clear instructions depend on speech pace and wording as well as sound level.
For Romanian or Russian messages, check playback of a prepared file and its supported format instead of relying on text-to-speech. Test pronunciation and volume before the operation. A short message with concrete instructions and clear pauses is easier to understand than a long recording amid background noise. Prepare the agreed message in advance so the operator does not need to edit it while controlling the aircraft.
