Detailed description
DJI Matrice 4T Used is a used thermal inspection drone with visible-light cameras and a laser rangefinder.
DJI Matrice 4T Free Combo Plus (Used)
Matrice 4T moves from an overview to close detail and then to temperature distribution. This combination suits infrastructure, buildings and hard-to-reach equipment. The rangefinder adds distance information, while viewing angle and survey conditions remain important for producing a useful report.
Features and use
- 48MP wide, medium tele and tele cameras
- Thermal sensor with native 640 × 512 resolution
- Integrated laser rangefinder
- DJI Enterprise platform
- Up to 49 minutes with standard propellers in DJI tests
Choosing the configuration
4T is the thermal version, whereas 4E focuses on mapping. Thermal interpretation depends on emissivity and surface conditions. The label Free Plus Combo alone does not establish service-plan validity or transferability; check this for the specific unit.
Used unit. Before purchase, review current photos, operating and repair history, battery cycles and camera operation. Package contents and any service plan must be checked for this particular unit; new-product condition must not be assumed.
Maximum endurance is measured under controlled conditions. Wind, temperature, settings, payload and battery condition affect results; keep a reserve for returning and landing.
This offer specifies one battery. It suits shorter sessions or an existing equipment kit; plan spare power separately when you need several consecutive flights.
Getting more from this model
For a thermal inspection, locate the asset in the visible image first, then examine temperature distribution in infrared. A thermal anomaly is evidence to investigate, not an automatic diagnosis. Sunlight, wind, moisture, surface material and viewing angle influence the result. Keep distance and conditions comparable across reports and archive original files rather than screenshots alone. This workflow is useful for buildings, installations and difficult-to-access equipment. Define the smallest defect of interest before travelling so that you can choose a realistic working distance and check whether the detail is sufficient.
Frequently asked questions
Can the thermal camera see through walls?
No. It records infrared radiation from visible surfaces; a coloured temperature map does not directly show the inside of a wall.
Does digital zoom add measured detail?
It does not create additional thermal-sensor pixels. Distance and angle are crucial for a small feature within appropriate operating conditions.
What should a report retain?
The associated visible image, location, time, conditions and relevant measurement settings. Interpret findings alongside the asset's construction and ground-level checks.
