Detailed description
DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro is an action camera with 4K/120fps recording, OLED screens and 47GB of internal storage.
DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro Adventure Combo
For sports and travel, Action 5 Pro combines a compact body with viewing and control from either side. The 4:3 format keeps extra vertical space when one recording must produce landscape and portrait clips. Internal storage is a useful reserve, but regular offloading still matters.
Features and use
- 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor
- Up to 40MP photos
- 4K/120fps including 4:3 recording
- Two OLED touchscreens
- 47GB of usable internal storage
Choosing the configuration
Choose Action 5 Pro for moving footage and editing flexibility. Check stabilisation availability at your selected resolution and the mounting interface. For a full filming day, plan charging and file transfers alongside the batteries in Adventure Combo.
Adventure Combo is the option for additional shooting accessories and battery rotation. Check the contents, charging arrangement and mounts before choosing. The Adventure label does not change camera recording resolution.
Before an important session, test recording format, stabilisation, available storage and sound with a short sample. Copy footage before deleting files or formatting storage.
Getting more from this model
Action 5 Pro works well when alternating action footage with pieces to camera. Screens on both sides help check composition, while 4:3 capture leaves room for a vertical crop. Film a dedicated high-frame-rate sequence for smooth slow motion and keep spoken segments in a regular mode. The 47GB internal storage is useful when a card is unavailable, but repeated sessions still require transfer and archiving. Set consistent frame rates and colour profiles across several angles unless the creative brief specifically calls for a difference.
Frequently asked questions
Are four hours guaranteed at 4K/120?
No. Maximum runtime is tested in a specified mode and conditions. Resolution, screens, temperature and connections affect endurance.
What changes from Action 4?
Differences include OLED screens, internal storage and 4K/120fps in 4:3. Compare these with your actual shooting workflow.
Can a DJI microphone connect directly?
Compatible DJI microphones are supported. The Adventure Combo name alone does not establish microphone inclusion; check the exact contents if spoken audio is a priority.
