Rear sensors for DJI Air 2S. The rear sensors are components of the system observing the space behind the aircraft.
Choosing the part
Check the number of modules supplied, connectors and fixing points. Compare the assembly with the removed part and confirm its version. The model is DJI Air 2S, sometimes listed as Mavic Air 2S. DJI Mavic Air 2 requires a separate compatibility check.
Installation and checks
Inspect the cables, lenses and surrounding frame during repair. After fitting, check sensor recognition and perform the applicable repair tests, including calibration if needed.
Questions before buying
Does a sensor error always mean a failed module? No. Dirty optics, cables, connectors and mounting alignment can also affect operation. Identify the sensing direction and cause of the error before choosing the module needed for repair.
Does fitting a sensor add new aircraft features? The part replaces an element of the existing system. It does not turn downward positioning into forward obstacle sensing or extend the model’s functions. Test the repaired system with lighting and ground conditions suitable for that aircraft’s sensors.
